Bangkok

Hello world! Just a short update. Just came back from my family Bangkok trip not long ago. And Bangkok is so awesome!!! I am definitely gonna be back there anytime soon! But obviously I targeted many other places.
:D

I bet many of you people go to bkk just for shopping right? My sis doesn't like shopping so on the first day itself when we checked into our hotel, we went and ask for the ground tour details. We followed the tour that was provided by our hotel and went to Ayutthaya which is one of the most visited tourist place where it has many temples and also where the king's summer palace is situated. Beautiful place for sight seeing! It is situated 76km north of Bangkok and also known as the historical park where most of the temples and buildings where ruined during the Indo-China war.

We started off our tour at 6.30am where the 3 of us (mum, sis n
i) waited at the lobby for our tour guide. It is a group tour where the agents pick up people from a few hotels. Oh ya, forgot to mention that the hotel that we stayed at is called, Ramada D'Ma Bangkok. Convenient place, clean hotel but service; so-so. So anyway, there were a total of 14 of us in the tour which is considered a large group and most
of them are Europeans.

Our first stop was the Wat Phra Sri Sanphet which is also
known as the Summer Palace. Beautiful structures of the building although it is not as grand as the Grand Palace in Bangkok but still, a spacious and nice palace! No shorts or sleeveless tops are allowed so be prepared to bring along a shawl if you are planning to pay a visit to this palace. Shorts is always my kind of clothes so obviously I had to borrowed a cloth from the palace. Just put a deposit of 200baht and everything is solved!

We then continued our journey to the Wat Chaiwatth
anaram which is the most imposing ancient Buddhist monasteries. The architecture of this building is similar to Angkor Wat where you can see a few pagodas there. Third stop; Wat Mahathat where you see this;

Next stop; Phra Mongkhonbhopit which was the venue of the late Thai King's royal ritual. Nothing special just great architecture building. And then ended our tour by getting on the river cruise that cruise along the Chao Praya River.

Me trynna be artsy. Lolol

So anyway, that's my short update on my bkk trip. Part2 coming soon! Gotta rush for mah lunch! ;)
